Corey H. McClure and Brian Kater make Corrian Aviation Services LLC with over 30 years of combined aviation experience. Available for Annuals, Avionics installs, AOG events, and any other maintenance events. Home hangar is currently located at FGX (Fleming-Mason Airport) in Maysville KY. AOG / mobile maintenance ready and available as they are typically within 1 hour from 27K.

Corey is an A&P / IA; Former Director of Maintenance of a Cirrus service center and maintenance manager of one of Ohio Valleys busiest flight schools. Corey comes from a strong general aviation background on Cirrus, Cessna, Piper, Diamond, Beechcraft etc. but has also managed maintenance of turboprop aircraft as well piston and rotor helicopters. Corey has Airbus, Bell, Cirrus (including CAPS trained), GE and Safran OEM training. Avidyne, Garmin, troubleshooting experience. Corey also has rotor experience on Bell 206, EC 135, and EC 145.

Brian is an A&P with excellent sheet metal, avionics, and general aviation experience. Brian comes from a very strong rotor background in military and civilian rotor. In the military working on UH-60 Blackhawks and CH-53s. Brian has extensive experience with Bell 206, 407s and EC 130, EC 135, and EC 145 which he has OEM training on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My aircraft is in need of maintenance, is Corrian available for this work on-site or at home location only?

A: Corrian will respond on-site for AOG events that prevent you from flying and minor maintenance items including some scheduled maintenance. For extensive work such as avionics upgrades and annuals we prefer that it be brought to our facility located at FGX.

Q: Can Corrian perform 2-year pitot-static / transponder (91.411 / 413) checks?

A: Not at this time as this work must be performed by a Part 145 repair station, however Corrian has applied with the FAA for this but it will take time to get set up for it. References can be provided and some will come on site as well.

Q: I am trying to sell my plane or purchase a plane? Will Corrian perform a pre-buy inspection?

A: Yes! Corrian performs pre-buys frequently. We can also get you in contact with brokers we have worked with in the past.
